Last year, Garland High School's very own Allison Yank took a National-level award for her winning entry in the Photography category of the Reflections competition (see it here). Freshman Jayci Van Cleave won a State-level award for her entry in the Mixed Media category (see it here).

2006-2007 was a banner year for the PTSA at Garland High School.
Not only did we repeat our 2005~2006 achievement of perfect attendance at meetings of
the GISD Council of PTAs and record another year of year-to-year membership growth,
we were awarded a number of other accolades, including the coveted "Outstanding PTA of the Year" award at the May 2007 Banquet, recognizing the extraordinary achievements of the Parents, Teachers/Staff, and Students at GHS.
